OCPA Announces Food Drive in Partnership with Destin Harvest

The Okaloosa County Property Appraiser’s Office is giving back and invites YOU to help us feed our neighbors in need during our FOOD DRIVE for Destin Harvest! Prompted by the COVID-19 crisis, there’s been a dramatic increase in the demand for food aid, and we’re doing our part by donating and collecting pantry food items. You may participate by bringing non-perishable unexpired food items to our offices by Wednesday, August 19th (Shalimar) and Friday, August 21st (Crestview).

The Property Appraiser’s Office is committed to being a strong advocate for community involvement, and hunger relief and support is just one of the many causes we’ve contributed to in recent years. Our last food drive resulted in donations of 607 food items, collected predominately from county employees of our Shalimar and Crestview office locations! With less than a month to go until the pickup, we welcome the contribution of employees and the public alike! By uniting together during this unprecedented time, we can make the greatest difference in fulfilling some basic needs of our community.
